Heck even its name, "my light is heavier than your light," smacks a stark contrast to the weird, unpronounceable Sweedishisms. The fixture is available in either a smooth or rough finish, and it comes outfitted with specialty light bulbs. And don't even think about trying to install this on your own with a tiny hex wrench. The designer warns: "This item must be installed by a professional."
And yes of course it's heavy and expensive. The light bar comes in three different lengths and weighs between 60 and 120 pounds depending on which one you buy. The four-foot, five-bulb fixture costs $800, the six-foot, seven-bulb bar costs $1050, and if you go all out—why would you not?—for the eight-foot, 9-bulb mammoth, it'll cost you $1250.
