The whole point of a cabin in the woods is to get away from it all. And somehow the architect behind the Allandale House, William O'Brien Jr., has managed to design a structure that looks less complicated than even a tent.The cabin's exaggerated A-frame design might result in ridiculously high ceilings and what looks to the untrained eye like a general waste of space. But who cares when it also affords those stunning floor-to-ceiling windows with their unobstructed view of the surrounding poplar trees? Let's hope the owners are open to the idea of a timeshare.
