If It Snows This Year, I'm Hitting the Hills With VW's New Sled [Desired]
Every few years Volkswagen focuses its design expertise on sleds instead of cars. And this year they've introduced a couple of new offerings, including this sleek Crazy Bob sled featuring Golf GTI branding.
To keep the price at a reasonable $84, VW opted for a slightly heavier plastic unibody construction instead of carbon fiber. But with its one kid-power engine I'm certain the sled will still shatter records on that one steep hill near the third turn of the Nürburgring.
Apparently the cup holder option was left out of this year's model, and the sound system is strictly BYO. But you can order one now if you can navigate Volkswagen's German website. [CarScoop]
